Got the great opportunity to see Vashti Bunyan and Brightblack Morning Light perform at The Great American Music Hall here in San Francisco. I was psyched to get to listen to the magic of well done 70s inspired psych live. It was almost a spiritual experience. Although the press is mostly of Nathan Shineywater and Rachael Hughes from Alabama, that night they had a percussionist and a girl named Mira playing the harp, and she told me they had to leave their other percussionist behind because they couldn't afford to bring him along on the tour.
